At Chilliwack Adopt-a-Senior Foundation, we believe every senior deserves to feel supported.
Founded in 2024, Chilliwack Adopt-a-Senior Foundation is a charity organization working with care homes, the Fraser Valley community, and local volunteers. Together, we aim to brighten the lives of seniors by connecting them with caring individuals and families who want to spread joy and kindness throughout Chilliwack.

why it matters
The holiday season is a time of celebration, warmth, and family. Unfortunately, many seniors in our community are left without these joys. By participating in Chilliwack Adopt-a-Senior, you can give them something truly priceless—hope, companionship, and the knowledge that they are not forgotten.
Your involvement makes an immediate, tangible impact. It helps lift the spirits of seniors, many of whom experience significant loneliness. With just a small act of kindness, you can make someone’s Christmas—and their year—much brighter.
How It Works
Each year, during the Christmas season, we match seniors in Chilliwack with community who "adopt" them. Our community provides thoughtful gifts, care packages, or even just the gift of time through visits and conversations. These small gestures make a world of difference to seniors who might otherwise spend the holidays alone.
By participating in the Adopt-a-Senior program, you're not only giving a senior a reason to smile, you're also creating a meaningful connection that can last beyond the holiday season to help with social isolation and their well-being.

How to Donate
Step 1: Choose Your Donation Amount
Decide on the amount you’d like to give.
Step 2: Send Your E-Transfer
In your banking app, send an e-transfer to amckenzie@chilliwackadoptasenior.org Use the password: Seniors2024 and include your name and “Donation” in the message section.
Step 3: Receive Your Tax Receipt
Once we receive your donation and we have processed it, we’ll email you a tax receipt.
